Vivere tutta la vita a Roma e poi trasferirsi in provincia, riscoprendo il suono dei vicoli, la dilatazione del tempo e a volte persino il piacere della noia, ma sempre in un ritmo collettivo, sociale. Su queste basi nasce VILLAGE LIFE per chitarra a 16 corde, in una ricerca volta alla massima espressione orchestrale dello strumento. È un viaggio immerso in atmosfere mediterranee, scandito da ritmi di danze. La vita del villaggio scorre più lentamente, ma è l’unica che davvero “va a tempo”.

Live the whole life in Rome, and then move to the province, where you can rediscover the sound of alleys, the expansion of time and sometimes even the pleasure of boredom, but always in a collective, social rhythm. On these bases is born the latest musical work by Pino Forastiere, VILLAGE LIFE, entirely composed and performed with a 16-string acoustic guitar, to further expand the polyphonic and polyrhythmic research on the maximum orchestral expression of the instrument. VILLAGE LIFE is a journey immersed in a Mediterranean atmosphere, punctuated by rhythms of dances. Village life flows more slowly, but it is the only one that really “goes in beat”.
