S A R R A M è il progetto solista di matrice ambient/drone in cui convivono elementi di natura postrock e noise del sardo Valerio Marras.  “A Bolu, in C” è il primo disco a nome S A R R A M ed è uscito nel Febbraio 2017 per Talk About Records e consiste in una suite di 37 minuti in cui il suono di chitarra viene miscelato attraverso l’utilizzo massiccio di effetti e loop improvvisando un percorso armonico, circondando l’ascoltatore di un paesaggio sonoro a tratti elettrico, a tratti etereo e riflessivo, a tratti nervoso e rapido. Già in attività con Thank U For Smoking e Charun, ha suonato in tutta Europa condividendo il palco – tra gli altri – con Killing Joke, Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You, The Dillinger Escape Plan; esibizioni al Dunk! Festival in Belgio ed al We are a Young Team in Francia, al Karel Music Expo, all’ Accademia delle Belle Arti di Monaco di Baviera, Spaziomusica project a Cagliari (K. Stockhausen, I. Xenakis, T. Riley); collaborazioni con il museo MAN e il Museo Ciusa di Nuoro, Luca T. Mai (Zu), Thisquietarmy (Canada), Quadratino Pericoloso (videofactory). Ha pubblicato dischi con Subsound Records (IT), Third I Rex (UK), Dunk! Records (Be), Talk About records (IT), Cave Canem (IT), As above so below (IT).
Il nuovo album uscirà in autunno per la label tedesca Midira Records e sarà presentato in anteprima al festival Miniere Sonore.

S A R R A M  is the solo project of the sardinian Valerio Marras which combines elements of drone, ambient, postrock and noise. The debut album “A Bolu, in C” (Talk About Records, 2017) of this ambient musician coming from Nuoro is composed by a one side – everlasting track – of 37 minutes all played by one guitar that improvises an harmonic journey moving through the exploration of different scales, surrounded by an electric, ethereal drone soundscape. Also guitar player of Thank U For Smoking and Charun band – both active in the european instrumental scene – he played all over Europe, sharing the stage – among the others – with Killing Joke, Scott Kelly (Neurosis), The Dillinger Escape Plan, Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You and many others including appearances at festivals such as Dunk!Festival in Belgium and We are a Young Team in France, Karel Music Expo in Italy, Spazio musica project in Cagliari (K. Stockhausen, I. Xenakis, T. Riley),  collaborations with MAN museum and Ciusa Museum in Nuoro,  Luca T. Mai (ZU), Thisquietarmy (Canada), Quadratino Pericoloso (videofactory). He released albums for Third I rex (UK), Subsound Records (IT), Dunk! Records (BE), Talk About records (CA), Cave Canem (IT), As above so below recs (DE). The new album will be out in Autumn for the german – drone/ambient/experimental label – Midira Records and  it will be previewed at Miniere Sonore Festival.
