Maggot Madness è il progetto solista di Simone Mura, polistrumentista invischiato nella scena psichedelica sarda con un passato in formazioni garage punk e psychrock come: The Moorays, Undisco Kidd, Gravedigger V, Sushicorner e un presente sempre più solido da one man band fantasista.
Le sonorità del “verme impazzito” richiamano uno psych pop in chiave lo-fi, batterie estremamente sintetiche, chitarre bucate da vermi ronzanti, synth space e voci che aleggiano su diversi layers ma che raramente affiorano del tutto in superficie raccontando un viaggio interplanetario senza meta.

Maggot Madness is the solo project by Simone Mura, multi-instrumentalist mixed up in the Sardinian psychedelic scene as a guitarist and drummer in garage punk and psychrock formations such as: The Moorays, Undisco Kidd, Gravedigger V, Sushicorner and nowadays an increasingly solid act as a one man band.
The sounds of “maggot madness” recall a psych pop in lo-fi key, extremely synthetic drums, guitars punctured by buzzing worms, synth space and voices that flutter over different layers but which rarely emerge completely on the surface, telling us about an interplanetary journey without destination
