Una carta d’identità in bianco. Ogni performance ridefinisce le generalità dell’artista, dello spazio-tempo occupato e della relazione artista-pubblico. IDcard è acronimo di I Don’t Care About Right Drums. E’ anche un pretesto per riflettere sull’identità oggi, in questa epoca caratterizzata da un conflitto tra due forze fondamentali: quella centrifuga dell’allontanamento dal vero sé e quella centripeta della chiusura in se stessi. Il centro da cui si auspica non dover più fuggire è la vita, unico spazio per un’eterogenea ma unica identità umana.

A blank identity card. Each performance redifines the details about the artist and his relationship with the audience, the space and the time. IDcard stands for I Don’t Care About Right Drums. It’s also an excuse to reflect on the identity in this age characterized by the conflict between two basic forces: the centrifugal force which drifts us apart from our true self and the centripetal force which leads us to close in ourselves. Life is the center which we hope no longer to flee from, the only space for a heterogeneous but unique human identity.
